Riddarhuset produces a magnificent heraldic book in three bands about the collection of the 2,331 famous coat of arms plates in Riddarhussalen. For the first time, the collection is illustrated and every shield gets its own story.
The bands are richly illustrated with new photos by award-winning photographer Gabriel Hildebrand, and for each coat of arms there is an explanatory text by the author and heraldist Magnus Bäckmark. The books also contain in-depth and interesting articles by specialists in nobility and heraldry. An indispensable reference set of books for both family history-related and heraldic connoisseurs.
